Chronic Illness Thoughts
Morning comes
And as I wake
My eyes come open
But oddly with so much pain.
Some days are good
Most days are great
But some days
The pain is more than You can take.
On the good days
You don't pace yourself
Because you are not so sure
Of when the next day will be
That the pain will escape.
