 Most days it’s easy

But some days it hard

I work and write

Trying to be the best me I can be.

I work on my career 

Expanding my horizons 

To the next tier.

I work on my poetry

Hoping I can post enough 

That my work is liked 

Both far and near.

So busy I stay 

Too busy to notice

The lonely that creeps in.

So when it hits hard

The lonely 

It breaks my heart

But no time shall I waste

On a another dream

That will never be

Made to be real

Made to be true

Sometimes love

It isn’t meant for you.
