You can look to the sky

And feel the love God painted

With every stroke

As the feeling grows strong

Beautiful Rainbows

Beautiful rainbow

As far as I can see

A beautiful promise

God sent thee.

And then their hearts

They would change

And they would be free

From the past

That created thee.

Every Day Life With Chronic Illness

Some days are amazing

Some days are great

We rise and we shine

And we go all day.

Other days we wake

And the pain

Is so much to take

That just taking a breath

Depletes the energy

We barely seemed to make.

So on the day we wake

And the sun shines

With very little pain

Research we must

So tomorrow won’t be a bust.

Striving to make each day better

On our journey along the way.
