Busy to Lonely With Just One Blink

 Most days it’s easy

But some days it hard

I work and write

Trying to be the best me I can be.

I work on my career 

Expanding my horizons 

To the next tier.

I work on my poetry

Hoping I can post enough 

That my work is liked 

Both far and near.

So busy I stay 

Too busy to notice

The lonely that creeps in.

So when it hits hard

The lonely 

It breaks my heart

But no time shall I waste

On a another dream

That will never be

Made to be real

Made to be true

Sometimes love

It isn’t meant for you.

Like this beautiful day

The glowing beauty

Is what you choose to see.

Close your eyes

And open your mind
